This is a couple days late but just wanted to talk about the impact Thursday Night's game had. We'll go team by team and see how it had it's affect.
Take Dat Wit Chu- To tell you the truth I would be a litttttttttle disappointed in the final score tally for Aaron Rodgers. Don't get me wrong, 24 pts is DAMN GOOD, but 21 of it came in the first half. I know Kenny was hoping for a 30+ performance after that 1st quarter, so I'm a little relieved he didn't go straight up bezerk the rest of the game. Still, I have Romo, and he'll be lucky to get half that, so an excellent start off the bat. Kenny probably wished he had played Jordy Nelson though, he had an outstanding game...on Kenny's bench.
Rugged Raymont Harris- Miserable miserable miserable start to my season. First play of the game Colston FUMBLES, I had -1 at half and things were looking bleak. Colston salvaged a decent showing, 6 pts (had it not been for the fumble, it'd be 8) but things got even worse when it was learned that Colston broke his collarbone and is now out at least 4 more weeks. In a league this competitive this is NOT a good sign.
The Bad Bobofies- Dad really couldn't ask for a better fantasy debut. Drew Brees ended up scoring more points than Aaron Rodgers did, so my dad is rolling. Not to mention the fact Posey is down two WR's (he played the non-active Lance Moore), and things are looking great for my dad to get his first W.
Salt & Vinegar Chips- The good news? Greg Jennings had a great game, a touchdown and he ended up with 14 fantasy points. The bad news? Lance Moore didn't play (and Malcolm Floyd would have been an excellent sub) so a big fat 0 goes on the board for him. You cannot have a 0 if you wanna compete especially when my dad has Drew Brees and his 28 points.
Dr. Wily's Robots- Matt just had Mason Crosby, and unfortunately for him he only had 6 extra points and no fg attempts.
Da Boyz- Cindy played Green Bay's D and got a kickoff return TD and a couple sacks to get a respectable 10 points from them.
Hoosier Daddy- My upset pick is looking pretty good now, as Ryan got a good game from Jimmy Graham. He scored a TD, and netted Ryan 11 pts.
Channel 4 News Team- I thought this was a matchup Albert had an advantage over Ryan, but nope, Finley had 50 yards receiving and that's it.
Zach and Leeland's teams had no one from either team on their fantasy rosters.
