Thursday Night Recap: Andre Brown's GIANT game

Yes I used a lame pun, when you're down 63.5 points after one day, you'll do anything to make light of a terrible situation. Leland did the unthinkable and started 4 Giants position players. They kicked my ass big time. Eli Manning, Victor Cruz, Martellus Bennett, and Andre Brown took care of the hapless Carolina Panthers with ease and I loathed every second of it. Every Giants offensive play was agonizing as I knew one of Leland's guy was always going to have the ball. Andre Brown was a beast with over 100 yards rushing and two scores. Marty B. chipped with yardage and a score. Victor Cruz Eli were average but 63.5 points for all 4 is not bad at all. Once again, I'll have to climb out of a huge deficit. Not looking forward to this week at all. Besides Leland, only 3 other teams had players play last night. Here's the breakdown of who did what.

The Bad Robofies- Cam Newton was big time disappointing last night. No passing touchdown, less than 250 yards passing, and 3 interceptions. Only a rushing TD saved his performance from pathetic to mediocre. Against Drew, this is not the kind of performance you want your #1 draft pick to have.

Richard Head- Steve Smith had a average day for Mike. 86 receiving yards on 4 catches. Not great, but not bad either. Considering the kind of game Carolina had, Mike should be grateful for this performance.

Hoosier Daddy- This was a surprise performance and Ryan's going to need every point to help him try to beat Mayra. The Giants Defense played superb with 3 interceptions, 2 fumble recoveries and only 7 points allowed.
