Week 9 Matchups and Predictions

This is a very interesting week as it's another huge week of byes and with a ton of teams scrambling for those W's for the playoff race, every player decision counts. Here are this week's matchups.

THE SPOILER (4-4) VS
Bay Area Tanners (2-6)

All Time Record
Series is tied 3-3

I'm gonna lose

Shock The Monkey (2-6) vs
BigBadBob (0-8)

All Time Record
Mark Leads series 4-3 (Mark beat Dad in Round 1 of the 2015 Wane McGarity Bowl)

Key Players

Shock The Monkey: Dez Bryant (Browns) Jarvis Landry (Jets) DeMarco Murray (Chargers)

BigBadBob: Cam Newton (Rams) Emmanuel Sanders (Raiders) Jeremy Maclin (Jags) Frank Gore (Packers) Devonta Freeman (Bucs)

Wild Cards

Shock The Monkey: Tyrod Taylor vs Seahawks. Latavius Murray workload

BigBadBob: Can Cam finally have a "Cam" game?

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Dad wins 102-97
I Say: Mark wins. Dad's playoff chances might be dead...but he'd still like to pick up one win in his last season in the league. This is a very solid chance to do that. Even as a favorite though, Dad's guys just have underperformed as a whole so much it's hard to pick him in this spot. The Hunter Henry part of his Olsen trade he made with Ryan didn't work out, so he traded me Brandon Marshall for Jeremy Maclin and Dennis Pitta. The way Marshall has been playing, it was worth the risk. Mark's got questions of his own, but I'll give him the slight edge this week.

Rocket Man (7-1) vs
Bigger Balls (5-3)

All Time Record
Mayra leads series 3-1

Key Players

Rocket Man: Aaron Rodgers (Colts) Julio Jones (Bucs) Melvin Gordon (Titans)

Bigger Balls: Matt Ryan (Bucs) Amari Cooper (Broncos) Matt Forte (Dolphins) Antonio Brown (Ravens)

Wild Cards

Rocket Man: Victor Cruz/Rishard Matthews/Duke Johnson/Devante Parker production

Bigger Balls: Will Big Ben play to boost Brown's value? Tough Matchup for Amari Cooper.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Mayra wins 109-102
I Say: Mayra wins. I had to do some guessing because as of this morning Mayra hasn't switched out her bye weeks guys, but when putting in guys I think she'll go with, Mayra has the edge and I believe for this week she does. Even losing Lamar Miller this week, she gets back Antonio Brown and performance wise I just trust Mayra's guys a little bit more than Eugene's. Cruz/Matthews/Duke/Devante CAN blow up and maybe a couple of them to, but to ask all of them to will be a tough task.

No Soup For You (4-4) vs
Channel 4 News Team (4-4)

All Time Record
Series is tied 3-3

Key Players

No Soup For You: Matthew Stafford (Vikings) Demaryius Thomas (Raiders) Randall Cobb (Colts) Marvin Jones (Vikings)

Channel 4 News Team: Andrew Luck (Packers) T.Y. Hilton (Packers) Doug Baldwin (Bills) Jordan Matthews (Giants) LeSean McCoy* (Seahawks)

Wild Cards

No Soup For You: Tough Matchup for Stafford/Jones. No David Johnson or recently acquired A.J. Green (On bye). Ivory/Ward at RB

Channel 4 News Team: No Jordan Howard. Will McCoy play? If he does, tough matchup. Is Hilton going to play? Who is Albert's RB2/TE?

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Albert wins 94-88
I say: I seriously don't know...as of right now I'll go with Albert..both of these teams are putting out pretty risky lineups. If Hilton doesn't play, that'll be HUGE considering Albert already doesn't have a tight end and tight ends are slim pickings right now. Leland's having to start guys like Terron Ward and Chris Ivory and his Lions have difficult matchups against the Vikings D. For Albert, even if McCoy plays..it's a tough matchup against Seattle. This is definitely a coin flip matchup and I'm only picking Albert because I have to pick SOMEONE. I have no real inclination on either one though honestly.

Hoosier Daddy (7-1) vs
Light's Broken Bots (4-4)

All Time Record
Matt Leads series 5-4

Key Players

Hoosier Daddy: Ben Roethlisberger* (Ravens) Philip Rivers (Titans) Michael Crabtree (Broncos) Steve Smith* (Steelers) Mark Ingram (49ers) Greg Olsen (Rams) Ezekiel Elliott (Browns)

Light's Broken Bots: Russell Wilson (Bills) Jordy Nelson (Colts) Kelvin Benjamin (Rams)

Wild Cards

Hoosier Daddy: Big Ben or Rivers? Tough Matchup for Crabtree. Steve Smith playing? Mark Ingram timeshare?

Light's Broken Bots: Russell Wilson's struggles. No Gronk. Will West start?

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Ryan wins 112-92
I Say: Ryan wins. This on the surface looks like an easy Ryan win...but looking it at closer..it's really not. First of all it's looking like Steve Smith isn't going to play so Ryan's going to have to make a move and pick up some random receiver off waivers, and the picking are slimmmmmmm. Also Mark Ingram has a great matchup but after what happened last week, who knows what's going to happen with him and Hightower. For Matt, the ace up his sleeve will be Charcandrick West..it's looking more and more that Spencer Ware will miss this game with a concussion, which means West would got ample opportunity to have a great game against the Jags if he gets the start. This could be an upset, but I'll still take Ryan to bounce back this week and get Win #8.

Woe Is You (5-3) vs
SCLSU MudDogs (4-4)

No Matchup Stats

Key Players

Woe Is You: Derek Carr (Broncos) Jonathan Stewart (Rams) Odell Beckham Jr. (Eagles)

SCLSU MudDogs: Drew Brees (49ers) Leveon Bell (Ravens) Delanie Walker (Chargers)

Wild Cards

Woe Is You: Difficult matchup for Carr. How good is the rest of Mike's team going to play?

SCLSU MudDogs: Receiver Production. Will Travis Benjamin Play?

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Alex wins 104-94
I Say: Alex wins. This is tough as both teams are decimated by injuries and/or byes. I'll just go with Alex because his QB has the better matchup, and he's got one of the best RB's in LeVeon Bell.
