Week 10 Matchups and Predictions

So we're down to the final stretch of games in the Fantasy Regular Season and boy is it going to come down to the wire. Every matchup from here on out matters and is crucial. Every player one uses, every move people make, is critical and could be the key or downfall to winning these last four games. Here's a look at this week's matchups and who "needs it more" so to speak.

SCLSU MudDogs (4-5) vs
Bay Area Tanners (3-6)

All Time Record
Series is Tied 1-1

Who Needs This More?
It's big for both, but for this week...I do because I lose and my playoff run is over. Alex loses and it'll be tough, but he'll still have a shot at the the playoffs.

Key Players

SCLSU MudDogs: Drew Brees (Broncos) Larry Fitzgerald (49ers) Julian Edelman (Seahawks) Le'Veon Bell (Cowboys) Delanie Walker (Packers) Jimmy Graham (Patriots)

Bay Area Tanners: Jameis Winston* (Bears) Mike Evans*(Bears) Brandin Cooks (Broncos) Brandon Marshall (Rams) Todd Gurley (Jets) Spencer Ware*(Panthers)

Wild Cards

SCLSU MudDogs: Brees vs Broncos. Edelman vs Seahawks.

Bay Area Tanners: Health of Winston/Evans/Ware. Difficult matchups for Cooks/Gurley. Will Brandon Marshall ever bounce back? TE Situation.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Alex wins 97-88
I Say: Alex wins. Well..it was nice to win last week but reality is about to set in and I'm going to have a very difficult path to try to make the playoffs starting this week. Alex typically follows a terrible week with a good one and with Larry Fitzgerald and Julian Edelman both back from byes plus the possibility of Carlos Hyde as well, I just think his team will definitely score some points. On my side too many health question marks and bad matchups and underperformers will probably do me in. IF my guys play to their abilities they can be dangerous..I just don't see it happening. Alex will take this and keep his playoff hopes alive.

THE SPOILER (4-5) vs
BigBadBob (0-9)

All Time Record
Drew Leads Series 5-1

Who Needs This More?
A pride argument can be made that Dad needs it more, but it's definitely Drew. Drew's the only 4 win team that MUST run the table. A loss and I don't think he gets in because of his low points.

Key Players

THE SPOILER: Carson Palmer (49ers) Allen Robinson (Texans) Ty Montgomery (Titans) Cole Beasley (Steelers) Devontae Booker (Saints)

BigBadBob: Cam Newton (Chiefs) Emmanuel Sanders (Saints) Devonta Freeman (Eagles)

Wild Cards

THE SPOILER: Same as every week...unpredictability of roster

BigBadBob: Cam's struggles. Maclin's injury. Reliable players outside of Devonta Freeman

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Dad wins 92-87
I Say: Drew wins. Dad's been the favorite before but his team just hasn't been able to get it together. He'll have a chance to win here because Drew's team can vary week to week as well, but I'll still give the edge to Drew here just because I think his guys will somehow find a way to perform.

Bigger Balls (6-3) vs
Shock The Monkey (3-6)

All Time Record
Mayra Leads Series 3-1

Who Needs This More?
No doubt it's Mark, because a loss and he's out of playoff contention. Mayra needs it to as far as going for the bye, but she can absorb a loss should it happen as far as just making the playoffs.

Key Players

Bigger Balls: Matt Ryan (Eagles) Antonio Brown (Cowboys) Matt Forte (Rams) Jay Ajayi (Chargers) Lamar Miller (Jaguars)

Shock The Monkey: Dez Bryant (Steelers) Jarvis Landry (Chargers) Alshon Jeffrey (Bucs) Demarco Murray (Packers)

Wild Cards

Bigger Balls: Amari Cooper on bye. Tough Matchup For Matt Forte

Shock The Monkey: Bortles at QB. Dion Lewis's playing time. Dez's targets.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Mayra wins 102-97
I say: Mayra wins. Mayra's riding a hot streak the past few weeks and she'll have a great chance to continue that streak against Mark. Mark's team is getting better as the weeks go by, but I still think Mayra pulls this off. I feel her team has the better talent overall and if she does indeed win, it'll officially end Mark's playoff run.

Rocket Man (7-2) vs
Channel 4 News Team (5-4)

All Time Record
Eugene leads series 5-2

Who Needs This More?
Albert does, just because he's in the thick of a playoff race for one of the lower spots in the playoffs, while Eugene's basically got a playoff spot locked up. A loss would hurt him for bye considerations, but not at all for playoffs.

Key Players

Rocket Man: Aaron Rodgers (Titans) Julio Jones (Eagles) DeAndre Hopkins (Jaguars) Melvin Gordon (Dolphins) Travis Kelce (Panthers)

Channel 4 News Team: Doug Baldwin (Patriots) Jordan Matthews (Falcons) Jordan Howard (Bucs) Tyler Eifert (Giants)

Wild Cards

Rocket Man: Victor Cruz's injury. Devante Parker's production. DeAndre Hopkins production.

Channel 4 News Team: Luck/Hilton/McCoy on Bye. How will Cutler fare? Will Doug Martin be back? Was Jordan Howard a fluke?

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Eugene wins 102-85
I Say: Eugene wins. Albert got lucky to barely eek out a victory last week other wise this game would be even more critical. Eugene has the better overall team especially with Albert missing Andrew Luck, T.Y. Hilton, and LeSean McCoy. Doug Martin being back would definitely help out, but even with that, I'll still  give the edge to Eugene.

Hoosier Daddy (8-1) vs
No Soup For You (4-5)

All Time Record
Leland Leads Series 6-2

Who Needs This More?
Leland does for sure. Ryan's in the driver's seat as far as byes go, but Leland needs the win to keep his playoff hopes alive.

Key Players

Hoosier Daddy: Ben Roethlisberger (Cowboys) Demaryius Thomas (Saints) Mark Ingram (Broncos) Ezekiel Elliott (Steelers) Greg Olsen (Chiefs)

No Soup For You: Philip Rivers (Dolphins) Michael Thomas (Broncos) A.J. Green (Giants) Randall Cobb (Titans) David Johnson (49ers)

Wild Cards

Hoosier Daddy: Difficult matchup for Mark Ingram. WR Production without Michael Crabtree

No Soup For You: RB Production outside of David Johnson.

Predictions
I Say: Ryan wins. So Ryan and Leland made a rare trade with each other while actually playing against each this week and I understand the need on both sides. For Ryan, he's looking forward to the playoffs and he knows he needs to improve his receiving group and this trade immediately does that. Sure Demaryius isn't the Demaryius of the past, but he's still a very solid receiver and provides an immediate upgrade to Ryan's receivers. For Leland, he needs wins NOW...and with Matthew Stafford on bye (and in the past 3 weeks kinda struggling, he's failed to reach 20 points 3 weeks in a row) Philip Rivers is 100X better than any waiver wire pickup he'd get this week and it gives him another solid option should Stafford continue to struggle. Because of the moving pieces I'm just going to go with Ryan taking this week's matchup only because I feel like he really gained on the Demaryius trade as the major piece he traded (Philip Rivers) he wasn't planning on using anyways and he needed to fill the gap with Crabtree's bye. It'll be a close one, but I'll give it to Ryan.

Woe Is You (6-3) vs
Light's Broken Bots (4-5)

All Time Record
Matt leads series 4-2 (Last Played Week 5 of the 2013 Season)

Who Needs This More?
Matt does. Again Mike needs it for a bye, but Matt's season is in serious jeopardy if he takes a loss here.

Key Players

Woe Is You: Eli Manning (Bengals) Terrelle Pryor (Ravens) Stefon Diggs (Redskins) Odell Beckham Jr. (Bengals) Jonathan Stewart (Chiefs) Jordan Reed (Vikings)

Light's Broken Bots: Tom Brady (Seahawks) Jordy Nelson (Titans) Kelvin Benjamin (Chiefs) Rob Gronkowski (Seahawks)

Wild Cards

Woe Is You: Who's going to be Mike's RB2?

Light's Broken Bots: Tough matchups for Brady/Gronk. RB Situation.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Mike wins 100-90
I Say: Mike wins. If Doug Martin does indeed play this week, that kind of puts a dent in using Peyton Barber this week for Mike. He'd probably have to hope Carlos Hyde is out so he can plug in DuJuan Harris, otherwise that'll be a weakness to have this week. For Matt, Brady/Gronk are matchup proof but still it is the Seahawks (even the Bills just put up some good points against them). At least the game is in New England. I still think Mike finds a way to win this week, but it won't be easy, should be a close one.
