Week 11 Matchups and Predictions

Well...down to the last 3 games of the season and Chaos reigns supreme. 10 of the 12 teams in the league still have a shot at the playoffs, but this week is very pivotal and that number could certainly shrink by the end of the week. Here's this week's matchups for a critical Week 11

Woe Is You (7-3) vs
Bay Area Tanners (3-7)

All Time Record
I lead series 6-2 (I beat Mike in Semi Finals of the 2013 Wane McGarity Bowl)

Who Needs This More?
Obviously it's Mike. My season is over. Mike is still in play for a bye and the fact the Eugene plays Ryan at less than full strength makes this a pretty important game for Mike. He wins and Eugene loses and we got ourselves a tie record wise for that coveted 2nd bye. A loss wouldn't hurt that much, Mike will still make the playoffs but a bye is the most important thing to obtain once you've made the playoffs.

Key Players

Woe Is You: Eli Manning (Bears) Stefon Diggs (Cardinals) Odell Beckham Jr. (Bears) Jonathan Stewart (Saints) Jordan Reed (Packers)

Bay Area Tanners: Jameis Winston (Chiefs) Mike Evans (Chiefs) Brandin Cooks (Panthers) LaGarrette Blount (49ers) Spencer Ware (Bucs)

Wild Cards

Woe Is You: Terrelle Pryor bounceback. Tough Matchup for Diggs. Starks/Humphries production

Bay Area Tanners: Shitty luck

Predictions
Yahoo Says: I win 107-102
I Say: Mike wins. Man it's really depressing how things have changed since the last time I played Mike. I had a job for one...and I was on my way to winning my first Wane McGarity Bowl Championship. This was the infamous "Jason Campbell over Tony Romo" game and a finish that went down to the wire as Matt Stafford threw a TD pass to JOSEPH FURIA to give me a 4 point lead ONLY FOR STAFFORD TO THROW A PICK and I won by a mere 2.5 points. Ever since that season....IT'S ALL GONE TO SHIT and I'd never come close to that feeling again. So yeah besides that backstory, I'm not buying my projected points one bit. Gurley sucks and Spencer Ware isn't good enough to just project nearly 17 points on a whim. Jameis is due for a shit game and Mike leads in lowest Points Against by a wide margin and I lead in highest so just read between the lines and guess what's going to happen. Mike takes this easily because that's just what he does and that's just how my luck is.

SCLSU MudDogs (5-5) vs
BigBadBob (0-10)

All Time Record
Alex leads series 2-1

Who Needs This More?
Alex does for sure. He's trying to stay in the thick of things in the playoff race and every win is crucial for that to happen.

Key Players

SCLSU MudDogs: Drew Brees (Panthers) Larry Fitzgerald (Vikings) Julian Edelman (49ers) Le'Veon Bell (Browns) Delanie Walker (Colts) Jimmy Graham (Eagles)

BigBadBob: Cam Newton (Saints) Frank Gore (Titans)

Wild Cards

SCLSU MudDogs: Fitzgerald's health/tough matchup

BigBadBob: Everything outside Cam and Gore

Projections
Yahoo Says: Alex wins 111-89
I Say: Alex wins. C'mon Alex...here it is..offered on a silver platter..not only do you get to play Dad and his winless team but he's also with out Devonta Freeman and Emmanuel Sanders who are on bye. You cannot ask for a better matchup and such a crucial week of the season. A win here will give Alex and big advantage of making the playoffs. He SHOULD (but this is fantasy football so who knows) win this easily.

Bigger Balls (6-4) vs
THE SPOILER (5-5)

All Time Record
Mayra leads series 4-1

Who Needs This More?
Both are in the playoff race, but it's Drew because he needs to run the table to make the playoffs because of his points. He loses here, he's pretty much done in my opinion. Mayra could eat a loss and though it would hurt, she could still bounce back from it.

Key Players

Bigger Balls: Dak Prescott (Ravens) Antonio Brown (Browns) Amari Cooper (Texans) Jay Ajayi (Rams) Lamar Miller (Raiders)

THE SPOILER: Allen Robinson (Lions) Donte Moncrief (Titans) Kyle Rudolph (Cardinals)

Wild Cards

Bigger Balls: Dak at QB

THE SPOILER: Ryan Mathews back as the #1 back in Philly? C.J. Prosise legit?

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Mayra wins 105-89
I Say: Mayra wins. Even with no Matt Forte and no Matt Ryan, Mayra should take this matchup easily. Her team is just too talented. I don't think Drew's going to have enough fire power to win this week.

Channel 4 News Team (5-5) vs
Shock The Monkey (4-6)

All Time Record
Mark Leads Series 2-1

Who Needs This More?
Mark does...he's 100% done if he loses this week.

Key Players

Channel 4 News Team: Andrew Luck (Titans) Doug Baldwin (Eagles) Jordan Matthews (Seahawks) T.Y. Hilton (Titans) LeSean McCoy (Bengals) Tyler Eifert (Bills) Doug Martin (Chiefs)

Shock The Monkey: Dez Bryant (Ravens) Jarvis Landry (Rams) DeMarco Murray (Colts) Latavius Murray (Texans)

Wild Cards

Channel 4 News Team: Tough Matchups for Jordan Matthews. Doug Martin's health. Jordan Howard's health.

Shock The Monkey: Flacco at QB again. Jarvis Landry's struggles. Will Dion Lewis play a lot?

Projections
Yahoo Says: Albert wins 106-84
I Say: Albert wins. So we have yet to see Albert's team at full strength since the McCoy trade, but it's all starting to come together and on paper, it's looks really scary. This is not going to be a team you'd wanna face in the 1st round if things keep progressing. If Albert wins this week, it gives a nice cushion for a playoff spot and hopefully by Week 14 Doug Martin will be 100% back for him. This team is super talented and could easily upset one of the big dogs on top. Mark suffered a huge loss in Alshon Jeffrey and though his team has really stepped it up the past 3 weeks, I think he's running into just a way more talented team overall in Albert and won't have enough to get the win.

Hoosier Daddy (9-1) vs
Rocket Man (8-2)

All Time Record
Eugene Leads Series 2-1

Who Needs This More?
Eugene does, because a loss here could put his potential bye in jeopardy, especially if Mike beats me this week as well.

Key Players

Hoosier Daddy: Ben Roethlisberger (Browns) Michael Crabtree (Texans) Mark Ingram (Panthers) Ezekiel Elliott (Ravens) Greg Olsen (Saints)

Rocket Man: Aaron Rodgers (Redskins) DeAndre Hopkins (Raiders) Travis Kelce (Bucs)

Wild Cards

Hoosier Daddy: Demaryius Thomas on bye. WR Production from Brown/Smith/Britt.

Rocket Man: Julio Jones and Melvin Gordon on bye. Can DeAndre Hopkins FINALLY do something? Tons of inconsistent plays (Duke Johnson, DeVante Parker, Marty B, Rishard Matthews, Kenneth Dixon)

Projections
Yahoo Says: Ryan wins 98-90
I Say: Ryan wins. The much anticipated #1 vs #2 matchup loses a tiny bit of luster thanks to byes. No  Demaryius Thomas for Ryan and no Julio Jones and Melvin Gordon for Eugene. I'd like to see this two teams at full strength, but maybe that'll happen in the Finals. I think both teams are relying on guys you just don't know what they'll do week in and week out and but for this week I think Eugene is relying on them a little bit more. Slight advantage to Ryan here.

No Soup For You (4-6) vs
Light's Broken Bots (4-6)

All Time Record
Matt Leads Series 5-1

Who Needs This More?
They need it EQUALLY. A loss here for either basically ends their season.

Key Players

No Soup For You: Matthew Stafford (Jaguars) A.J. Green (Bills) Randall Cobb (Redskins) David Johnson (Vikings)

Light's Broken Bots: Tom Brady (49ers) Jordy Nelson (Redskins) Kelvin Benjamin (Saints) Rob Gronkowski*(49ers)

Wild Cards

No Soup For You: RB Production outside of David Johnson. TE production.

Light's Broken Bots: Possibly no Gronk. RB Production

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Leland wins 98-93
I Say: Leland wins. This is probably the best and most important matchup of the week as the loser can basically kiss their playoff chances goodbye. Matt losing by 5 last week was heartbreaking but even worse is the possibility of losing Gronk for this week. This would be a HUGE loss. I can't believe Leland is even in this situation, but I have to believe for at least this week, he's got the advantage and will save his season for at least one more week.
