Week 9 Matchups and Predictions

Year is going by damn fast. Time for the Weekly Matchups and Predictions Post.

Bigger Balls (4-4)      vs
Poseidon Angry (2-6)

No Matchup Stats

Key Players

Bigger Balls: Drew Brees (Eagles) Marques Colston (Eagles) Andre Johnson (Bills) Ryan Mathews (Chiefs) Owen Daniels (Bills)

Poseidon Angry: Eli Manning (Steelers) Victor Cruz (Steelers) Calvin Johnson (Sucks..err I mean Jaguars) Ray Rice (Browns) Matt Forte (Titans) Tony Gonzalez (Cowboys)

Wild Cards
Bigger Balls: Can Michael Turner fill in for Gore?

Poseidon Angry: Shit everything is a wild card. When will my team put together a nice solid effort all around?

Predictions
I don't care what Yahoo says about my matchups anymore, according to them I should be undefeated yet I lose every week. Once again they predict ridiculous absurd points that my team will inevitably not reach.

I Say: Mayra wins, why? Because everyone does against me. Eli and Cruz have shit matchups so they'll play like shit. Calvin, Ray Rice, and Matt Forte have awesome matchups so naturally they'll underachieve. I made a trade for Tony Gonzalez and I'll use him over Gates so naturally Gates will finally go off again. Mayra starts the week off with Ryan Mathews and I could be down 20 right off the bat.

Breaking Bybee (3-5)    vs
Chardee MacDennis (2-6)

Matchup Stats
All Time: Kenny Leads Series 2-1
Last Matchup: Kenny Beat Drew  118-71 in Week 13 of the 2010 Season

Key Players
Breaking Bybee: Robert Griffin III (Panthers) Miles Austin (Falcons) Steve Smith (Redskins) Roddy White (Cowboys) Jamaal Charles (Chargers) LeSean McCoy (Saints)

Chardee MacDennis: Matthew Stafford (Jaguars) Mike Wallace (Giants) Adrian Peterson (Seahawks) Darren McFadden ( Bucs)

Wild Cards
Breaking Bybee: Bounce Back for Jamaal Charles, Roddy White, and RGIII?

Chardee MacDennis: Stable WR Production?

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Kenny wins 120-102
I Say: Kenny wins. This is a very important matchup as it could basically finish Drew off for good. I don't think it's a blowout at all, but I think Kenny has a slight edge in overall team depth this week. It all starts tomorrow with Jamaal Charles, if he sucks again though, Kenny will be in trouble.

Dr. Wily's Robots (7-1)        vs
Richard Head (4-4)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Matt leads series 3-1
Last Matchup: Matt beat Mike 100-83 in Week 6 of the 2011 Season

Key Players
Dr. Wily's Robots: Michael Vick (Saints) Ben Roethlisberger (Giants) Percy Harvin (Seahawks) A.J. Green (Broncos) Hakeem Nicks (Steelers) Arian Foster (Bills) Marshawn Lynch (Vikings)

Richard Head: Aaron Rodgers (Cardinals) Dez Bryant (Falcons) Chris Johnson (Bears)

Wild Cards
Dr.Wily's Robots: I guess Matt's TE Situation?
Richard Head: Severe lack of depth on paper. Inconsistent production from Brian Hartline, Michael Bush, Santana Moss.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Matt wins 118-84
I say: Matt wins, OK, OK, please seriously I Can't possibly be wrong. I'll stress this by saying on paper, this is a severe mismatch. Posey didn't have a RB #2 but made a trade for Chris Johnson. If Posey wins that matchup it'll be (say with me folks) the REAL miracles of all miracles.

The Twin Killers (5-3)  vs
Hoosier Daddy (5-3)

Matchup Stats

All Time Record: Leland Leads Series 1-0
Last Matchup: Leland won 111-84 in week 5 of the 2011 Season

Key Players
The Twin Killers: Matt Ryan (Cowboys) Julio Jones (Cowboys) Doug Martin (Raiders) C.J. Spiller (Texans)

Hoosier Daddy: Peyton Manning (Bengals) Larry Fitzgerald (Packers) Reggie Wayne (Dolphins) Antonio Brown (Giants) Reggie Bush (Colts) Ahmad Bradshaw (Steelers) Jason Witten (Falcons)

Wild Cards
The Twin Killers: What if Jordy doesn't play? Gronk on bye. Doug Martin loses key offensive lineman. Tough Matchup for Spiller

Hoosier Daddy: Bradshaw/Bush step up?

Predictions
Yahoo says: Ryan wins 107-97
I Say: Ryan wins. I think no Jordy and Gronk is gonna made a difference in this matchup. Ryan is pretty much at full force and though his RB's are struggling, Bush can get it going against the crappy Colts defense. Slight edge to Ryan here.

The Bad Robofies (5-3)     vs
Channel 4 News Team (3-5)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Dad Leads series 2-1
Last Matchup: Albert Beat Dad 108-84 in the Quarterfinals of the 2011  Playoffs

Key Players
The Bad Robofies: Cam Newton (Redskins) Vincent Jackson (Raiders) Randall Cobb (Cardinals) Jeremy Maclin (Saints) Darren Sproles (Eagles)

Channel 4 News Team: Philip Rivers (Chiefs) Brandon Marshall (Titans) Demaryius Thomas (Bengals) Willis McGahee (Bengals) Trent Richardson (Ravens) Jimmy Graham (Eagles)

Wild Cards
The Bad Robofies: Using Two Running backs (Sproles/Thomas) from same backfield. Relevance of Jermichael Finley

Channel 4 News Team: Philip Rivers risky play, Jimmy Graham's Health

Predictions
Yahoo says: Albert wins 106-97
I say: Dad wins, I'm going to go on a limb and say Dad pulls off another W in spectacular Dad fashion. If Dwayne Bowe and Philip Rivers both bomb out Thursday, then Dad will be in good shape as Cam Newton has an excellent matchup this week, and he's got some good overall matchups with his players.
