Why Is a picture of the Knicks bench celebrating here? Well it's the main reason the Matchups and Predictions are late. I went to the Knicks/Spurs game Thursday Night and luckily for me the Knicks pulled it off after the Spurs blew a 12 point 4th quarter lead. To say I'm not fond of the Spurs is an understatement. Good to see them lose in person. Anyway, I'm going to incorporate Thursday's Bills-Dolphins game into the predictions since a couple of people had players in that game. Without further ado...
Dr. Wily's Robots (8-2) vs
Poseidon Angry (3-7)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: I lead series 5-2
Last Matchup: Matt won 163-133 in Week 2
Key Players
Dr. Wily's Robots: A.J. Green (Chiefs) Arian Foster (Jaguars) Alfred Morris (Eagles) Chicago Bears Defense (49ers) Vernon Davis (Bears)
Poseidon Angry: Andrew Luck (Patriots) Carson Palmer (Saints) Calvin Johnson (Packers) Eric Decker (Chargers) Steve Smith (Bucs) LeSean McCoy (Redskins) Matt Forte (49ers) Antonio Gates (Broncos)
Wild Cards
Dr. Wily's Robots: 3 players on bye (Nicks, Harvin, Lynch) Vick/Big Ben inactive. Sam Bradford adequate replacement? Vernon Davis bust out of slump? Mike Williams/Donnie Avery Pick up WR slack?
Poseidon Angry: Luck/Palmer Decision. Forte Bad Matchup against 49ers.
Predictions: Keeping the rule of ignoring what Yahoo says. In all honestly, with Matt's team in total disarray I should WIN. I should, but doesn't mean I will, and he still has excellent matchups for Foster and A.J. Green. I'm gonng do what I do all season. Matt wins and elminates me for good probably due to bad games from my guys. At least if I'm going to play Matt, I couldn't ask for a better set up.
Bigger Balls (5-5) vs
Breaking Bybee (3-7)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Mayra Leads series 1-0
Last Matchup: Mayra beat Kenny 114-98 in Week 2
Key Players
Bigger Balls: Drew Brees (Raiders) Marques Colston (Raiders) Andre Johnson (Jaguars) Frank Gore (Bears) Owen Daniels (Jaguars) Ryan Mathews (Broncos)
Breaking Bybee: RGIII (Eagles) Roddy White (Cardinals) Miles Austin (Browns) Ray Rice (Steelers) Jamaal Charles (Bengals) Tony Gonzalez (Cardinals)
Wild Cards
Bigger Balls: Ryan Mathews Health
Breaking Bybee: Ray Rice tough matchup vs Steelers
Predictions
Yahoo Says: Kenny wins 115-104
I say: Kenny wins. Kenny's riding a 4 game losing streak and this is a must win for him. I think overall his guys have better matchups, and though it'll be close, I'll give the slight edge to Kenny.
The Twin Killers (6-4) vs
Chardee MacDennis (4-6)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Leland Leads Series 1-0
Last Matchup: Leland won 125-84.5 in Week 2
Already Played
The Twin Killers: C.J. Spiller (13.5 Points)
Chardee MacDennis: Stevie Johnson (10 Points)
Key Players
The Twin Killers: Matt Ryan (Cardinals) Julio Jones (Cardinals) Torrey Smith (Steelers) Jordy Nelson (Lions) Rob Gronkowski (Colts) Doug Martin (Panthers)
Chardee MacDennis: Matthew Stafford (Packers) DeSean Jackson (Redskins) Denarius Moore (Saints)
Wild Cards
The Twin Killers: What Defense Will Leland Use?
Chardee MacDennis: No Peterson/McFadden. Mendenhall/Felix viable starters?
Predictions
Yahoo's Revised Predictions Say: Drew wins 95-94 (Without Leland picking a defense)
I Say: Leland wins. Drew not having Peterson who is on bye is a crucial loss, and having to use Mendenhall and Felix could prove to be disasterous. I think Leland's team is just too strong this week.
The Bad Robofies (5-5) vs
Richard Head (5-5)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Dad leads series 2-1
Last Matchup: Dad beat Mike 108-59.50 in week 2
Already Played
Richard Head: Brian Hartline (4 pts)
Key Players
The Bad Robofies: Cam Newton (Bucs) Vincent Jackson (Panthers) Wes Welker (Colts) Randall Cobb (Lions) Darren Sproles (Raiders)
Richard Head: Aaron Rodgers (Lions) Dez Bryant (Browns) Stevan Ridley (Colts) Steven Jackson (Jets)
Wild Cards
The Bad Robofies: Will Sproles play? Will Questionably 49ers Drop come back to haunt Dad?
Richard Head: Brandon Lloyd bust out of slump? Heath Miller performance with Leftwich?
Predictions
Yahoo Says: Mike wins 103-101
I Say: This is tough, Dad seems to have the edge in Receivers, while Mike has the edge in running backs. Mike's already wasted a Brian Hartline play and he didn't do much. I'm going to go with Dad barely pulling through with a W. It's pretty evenly matched up overall, but if Sproles plays, Dad might have a small advantage.
Hoosier Daddy (6-4) vs
Channel 4 News Team (5-5)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Albert Leads Series 5-2
Last Matchup: Albert obliterated Ryan 156-54 in Week 2
Already Played
Hoosier Daddy: Reggie Bush (4 points)
Key Players
Hoosier Daddy: Peyton Manning (Chargers) Larry Fitzgerald (Falcons) Reggie Wayne (Patriots) Jason Witten (Browns) Marcel Reece (Saints)
Channel 4 News Team: Tom Brady (Colts) Demaryius Thomas (Chargers) Brandon Marshall (49ers) Willis McGahee (Chargers) Trent Richardson (Cowboys) Jimmy Graham (Raiders)
Wild Cards
Hoosier Daddy: Denario Alexander WR#3? Marcel Reece production?
Channel 4 News Team: Tom Brady put up 1 round pick stats?
Predictions
Yahoo Says: Albert Wins 116-109
I Say: Albert Wins, Ryan already had a crappy performance from Reggie Bush and though I doubt it's a 100 point win like last time, I think Albert takes this one and sweeps the season series.
