Week 5 Matchup and Predictions

Posey brought it up to my attention but for over 2 years I've been spelling Wane McGarrity's name wrong. Bizzare. Well, Week 5 starts today and we're down to just one undefeated team in Matt. Here are this week's matchups and predictions.

Channel 4 News Team (2-2) vs
Poseidon Angry (1-3)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Albert Leads series 3-2
Last Matchup: Albert beat me 132-57 in the 2011 Wane McGarrity Championship (yeah, what a final)

Key Players
Poseidon Angry: Matt Ryan (vs Redskins) Reggie Wayne (Packers) Jordy Nelson (Colts) Matt Forte (Jaguars) Ray Rice (Chiefs) Antonio Gates (Saints)

Channel 4 News Team: Tom Brady (Broncos) Brandon Marshall (Jaguars) Demaryius Thomas (Patriots) Willis McGahee (Patriots) Dwayne Bowe (Ravens) Trent Richardson (Giants) Jimmy Graham (Chargers)

Wild Cards
Poseidon Angry: Matt Forte Full Load? Can Antonio Gates finally get back on track? Can Jordy Nelson Pick up Greg Jennings' slack?

Channel 4 News Team: Will high RB productivity continue? Tough Dwayne Bowe Matchup.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: I win 117-111 (wish Yahoo would stop projecting me to win)
I say: Albert wins, look I have no confidence in my team right now. I don't even know how much Matt Forte is going to really play and combine that with no Megatron and I'm playing a red hot team in Albert and I'd be nuts to say I'd win. Albert's taking this and I'm headed down my worst fantasy football season ever.  The underachieving starts tomorrow with my Cardinals defense.

Breaking Bybee (1-3)   vs
The Bad Robofies (3-1)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Series is tied 1-1
Last Matchup: Dad Beat Kenny 113-74 in the 2011 5th Place Game

Key Players
Breaking Bybee: Robert Griffin III (Falcons) Brandon Lloyd (Broncos) Roddy White (Redskins) Jamaal Charles (Ravens) LeSean McCoy (Steelers)

The Bad Robofies: Cam Newton (Seahawks) Wes Welker (Broncos) Darren Sproles (Chargers) Jermichael Finley (Colts)

Wild Cards
Breaking Bybee: Tough RB Matchups, James Jones at WR 3, Pitta Rebound?

The Bad Robofies: V-Jax, Murray on Bye. Less than thrilling RB replacement (Deangelo Williams/Donald Brown)

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Kenny wins 110-103
I Say: Kenny wins, On paper, Kenny as the better team, it looks even better with Dad having no Vincent Jackson nor DeMarco Murray. Dad's two backup rb's are very pedestrian. I think despite difficult RB Matchups, Kenny takes this.

Dr. Wily's Robots (4-0)        vs
The Twin Killers (2-2)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Matt Leads the Series 1-0
Last Matchup: Matt won 125-105 in week 8 of the 2011 season

Key Players

Dr. Wily's Robots: Michael Vick (Steelers) A.J. Green (Dolphins) Percy Harvin (Titans) Arian Foster (Jets) Marshawn Lynch (Panthers) Vernon Davis (Bills) Chicago Defense (Jaguars)

The Twin Killers: Eli Manning (Browns) Victor Cruz (Browns) Julio Jones (Redskins) Torrey Smith (Chiefs) Fred Jackson (49ers) C.J. Spiller (49ers) Rob Gronkowski (Broncos)

Wild Cards

Dr. Wily's Robots: Vick against Steelers, Dominik Hixon in lineup

The Twin Killers: Use of two RB's from the same team, both RB's have a tough matchup against 49ers

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Matt wins 117-104
I Say: Matt wins, he's going 5-0 folks. Until byes still hitting, this is just too loaded a team to handle. Leland's willing to go outside the box, and I like the idea of an ultimate super RB, by playing both Jackson and Spiller, it's just too bad it's against San Francisco.

Hoosier Daddy (2-2)     vs
Chardee MacDennis (1-3)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Drew Leads Series 3-0
Last Matchup: Drew Beat Ryan 121-91 in Week 11 of the 2010 Season

Key Players
Hoosier Daddy: Peyton Manning  (Patriots) Larry Fitzgerald (Rams)  Antonio Brown (Eagles) Michael Turner (Redskins)

Chardee MacDennis: Joe Flacco (Chiefs) Mike Wallace (Eagles) Adrian Peterson (Titans)

Wild Cards
Hoosier Daddy: No Greg Jennings, Inconsistency in Running Backs still lingers.

Chardee MacDennis: Can Amendola/Hartline produce? Brandon Bolden at RB2?

Predictions
Yahoo Says:  Drew wins 97-96 (Assuming Ryan plays Andre Roberts)
I say: Ryan wins, I think in a little bit of a shocker I'm going to have to give the nod to Ryan here. Amendola/Hartline are risky lottery tickets and Brandon Bolden is the biggest risk of all. If they pay off, that'll be huge, didn't realize how thin Drew's team was this week. I think Ryan has enough firepower to pull this off.

Richard Head (2-2)         vs

Bigger Balls (2-2)

 No Matchup Stats

Key Players

Richard Head: Aaron Rodgers (Colts) Steve Smith (Seahawks) Maurice Jones-Drew (Bears) Tony Gonzalez (Redskins)

Bigger Balls: Drew Brees (Chargers) Andre Johnson (Jets) Marques Colston (Chargers) Ryan Mathews (Saints) Frank Gore (Bills)

Wild Cards
Richard Head: Garcon's Health. Jeremy Kerley (realllly?), Michael Bush's role with Forte back. MJD tough matchup vs Bears

Bigger Balls: Chargers Bluffing about Mathews role?

Predictions
Yahoo says: Mayra wins by .02 103.05-103.02
I say: Mayra wins, Mayra has to get over that heartbreaking loss to Matt and refocus this week against Mike. She has an astonishing 6 players going on Sunday and Monday night. I think she pulls off the win. I like her team more than Mike's this week.
