Week 5 Matchups and Predictions

Well the big question every week is going to be "Is this the week Mayra Loses?" That's the biggest storyline going on besides the rest of the league just doing whatever it takes to survive. Here's this week's matchups and predictions.

Channel 4 News Team (3-1)   vs
Arturo's Beans (2-2)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Albert leads series 5-2
Last Matchup: Albert Beat me 77-74.5 in week 6 of the 2013 season

Key Players
Channel 4 News Team: Peyton Manning (Cardinals) Steve Smith (Colts) A.J. Green (Patriots) Percy Harvin (Redskins) Arian Foster (Cowboys)

Arturo's Beans: Matthew Stafford (Bills) Brandon Marshall (Panthers) Randall Cobb (Vikings) Keenan Allen (Jets) LeSean McCoy (Rams)

Wild Cards
Channel 4 News Team: Disappointing Cordarrelle Patterson. Arian Foster's health

Arturo's Beans: Brandon Marshall's health. McCoy's struggles. Lack of depth leading to lottery ticket high risk players (McKennon, LaFell, Seferian-Jenkins). Vernon Davis injury. Joique Bell Concussion.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Albert wins 96-92
I Say: Albert wins. He's historically owned me and I don't see that changing this year. My team has way too many injuries and question marks to be able to compete with a team like Albert's this week. I have plays that could seriously lead to 0 points. McKennon is the ultimate lottery ticket and he can really just put a dagger in my chances before Sunday. I just don't see me having enough firepower to win.

NEXT!!!!! (2-2) vs
Woe Is Me (1-3)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Kenny leads series 4-2
Last Matchup: Kenny beat Leland 94-75.5 in Week 5 of the 2013 Season

Key Players
NEXT!!!!: Aaron Rodgers (Vikings) Michael Floyd (Broncos) Doug Martin (Saints)

Woe Is Me: Colin Kaepernick (Chiefs) Calvin Johnson (Bills) Demaryius Thomas (Cardinals) Vincent Jackson (Saints) Frank Gore (Chiefs)

Wild  Card
NEXT!!!: Ben Tate Return. Same thing I always put on this Wild Card..unpredictability of Leland's team

Woe Is Me: Demaryius bounce back. Calvin Health. Who's the #2 back? Ebron at Tight End

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Kenny wins 91-90
I Say: Kenny wins. This isn't a slam dunk as I thought it was going to be headed into the season. Kenny finally picked up his first win, and if he can pick up win #2 he's back in business. I think he gets it here. Last week, Leland was able to put up 115 points. I have no doubt Aaron Rodgers can put up numbers, but Asiata putting up 3 scores again might be stretch. You never know though.

Rocket Man (3-1) vs
The Bad Robofies (2-2)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Dad leads series 2-0
Last Matchup: Dad beat Eugene 83-63.5 in Week 12 of the 2013 season

Key Players
Rocket Man: Julio Jones (Giants) Jeremy Maclin (Rams) Victor Cruz (Falcons) DeMarco Murray (Texans) Martellus Bennett (Panthers)

The Bad Robofies: Russell Wilson (Redskins) Gio Bernard (Patriots) Alfred Morris (Seahawks) Jimmy Graham (Bucs)

Wild Cards
Rocket Man: Back To Dalton at QB. Vereen's inconsistencies.

The Bad Robofies: Wilson taking over QB spot. Morris difficult matchup against Seahawks. Torrey Smith targets

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Eugene wins 98-85
I say: Eugene wins..too much firepower here. Dad's gonna need secondary guys like Terrence Williams and Heath Miller to step up big time like that last week (and even that wasn't enough to be Leland) if he's gonna stand a chance. Gotta go with Yahoo here.

Dr. Light's Robots (2-2) vs
Winter is Here (1-3)

No Matchup Stats

Key Players
Dr. Light's Robots: Jordy Nelson (Vikings) Andre Johnson (Cowboys) Jamaal Charles (49ers)

Winter Is Here: Drew Brees (Bucs) Wes Welker (Cardinals) Marshawn Lynch (Redskins) Rob Gronkowski (Bengals) Reggie Bush (Bills)

Wild Cards
Dr. Light's Robots: Tough Matchups for top players. Andre Johnson and Donald Brown struggles

Winter is Here: Reggie Bush's workload if Joique Bell is ruled out.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Matt wins 103-98
I Say: I'm gonna make this my upset pick and say Alex pulls this off. It's crazy to pick against Matt after he put up 146 points last week, but I'm looking at the matchups and they aren't that great. Charles and Alex Smith face the 49ers. Donald Brown couldn't do anything against a crappy Jags run D, now he faces a stiffer Jets run D. Andre Johnson's been disappointing. I think Alex has enough here to get win #2 the big wild card being if Joique Bell is ruled out, Reggie Bush should dominate touches.

JTG's Warehouse (2-2) vs
Hoosier Daddy (1-3)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Drew leads series 4-1
Last Matchup: Drew beat Ryan 112.5-107.5 in Week 9 of the 2013 Season

Key Players
JTG's Warehouse: Kelvin Benjamin (Bears) Andre Ellington (Denver) Julius Thomas (Cardinals)

Hoosier Daddy: Alshon Jeffrey (Panthers) Pierre Garcon (Seahawks) Roddy White (Giants) Eddie Lacy (Vikings) Rashad Jennings (Falcons)

Wild Cards
JTG's Warehouse: Cutler's play. Edelmen in sync with Brady. Golden Tate's role with fully healthy Megatron.

Hoosier Daddy: Foles bounce back. Difficult matchup for Garcon. Eddie Lacy's slow start continues.

Predictions
Yahoo Says: Ryan wins 100-89
I Say: Ryan wins. Ryan needs a win in the worst way here and I think he gets it. I just don't really see explosive options on Drew's team without Peterson on this roster. C.J. Spiller has basically been a bust, and the receivers aren't bad..but they are awesome either. I think Ryan bounces back here.

Bigger Balls (4-0) vs
Shock The Monkey (1-3)

Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Mayra Leads Series 2-0
Last Matchup: Mayra beat Mark 115.5-100.5 in the 5th place game of The Wane McGarity Bowl

Key Players
Bigger Balls: Andrew Luck (Ravens) Dez Bryant (Texans) Antonio Brown (Jaguars) Le'veon Bell (Jaguars)

Shock The Monkey: Matt Ryan (Giants) Matt Forte (Panthers) Michael Crabtree (Chiefs) Montee Ball (Cardinals)

Wild Cards
Bigger Balls: Colston and Gates performances

Shock The Monkey: Forte and Ball tough matchups. Decker's health. Sankey's usage.

Predicitons
Yahoo Says: Mayra wins 100-88
I Say: Marya wins. Last year the roles were reversed it was Mark who was undefeated taking on Mayra. Mayra broke the streak and later beat Mark in the 5th place to add insult to injury. I can't see Mark's team beating Mayra's this time around. Too much top heavy talent here for Mayra. If Colston and Gates continue to underperform, she might have a problem, but she can always switch out her flex position and her other players will hide the bad performances anyway. Mayra's going to be 5-0.
