Overview: I was the only one besides Ryan who controlled my destiny for a bye. I win, I get it, that simple. My team responded with an amazing season ending performance that began with controversy. Reports on Thursday were that LeSean McCoy's toe injury was going to be a big time problem and limit his effectiveness. I had to make a ballsy decision and sit him in place of the red hot Marshawn Lynch. It was a big time risk that could've blown up big time and cost me a chance at a bye. Alas, it didn't as Marshawn was brilliant in relief duty with 148 rushing yards and 2 TD's. McCoy ended up being fine (more than fine ,with 2 TD's of his own) but I still made the right decision as Lynch and Ray Rice (200 yards rushing and a TD) led my team in scoring. Finally, all three of my receivers came through as they all scored at least once (Nicks twice), and though Romo was pedestrian for his standards (299 and 1 score) and my defense was horrible (only 6 points against the shitty Colts) it wouldn't matter much as I tied my highest game total of the season. Outside of A.J. Green and Eli, Matt's team just didn't get it together. Frank Gore was big time disappointing as he had a prime matchup against the Rams, but only got 73 rushing yards. Just a total letdown ending for Matt, as his team just completely fell apart in the final stretch of the season. I'll get to relax for one week and see Kenny and Leland duke it out. Hopefully my team keeps this momentum for the playoffs as this is what my team is capable of at full strength.

Overview: Albert's slide continues as he drops his 3rd straight entering the playoffs and all to playoff teams (my dad, me, and now Kenny). For Kenny, entering this week, his playoff seeding was all over the place, from 2nd all the way to 6th. Beating Albert (thanks to a great game by Ryan Mathews) guaranteed him the 4th seed and a 1st round matchup with Leland. It was just another spectacular day for Aaron Rodgers (369 passing yards, 4 TD's) and it basically afforded the rest of Kenny's team to coast to a victory. Only Mathews and Baltimore Defense really stood out for Kenny. Albert's got a really scary team, but for some reason they just can't seem to get it together. Brady was good, not great, Calvin Johnson was mediocre, and Steven Jackson was non existent (predictably against the 49ers). Arian Foster, Dez Bryant, and Jermichael Finley all had great games, and overall it wasn't a bad overall team effort. Just imagine if Brady and Megatron had preformed up to their standards, Albert might have won this matchup. Instead, he'll go in as a 6th seed and face my dad in the 1st round. I still think Albert is scary good, and if he advances past the 1st round, watch out, he might gain momentum for the rest of the way.

Overview: The biggest news here is that Leland lost his best offensive player in Matt Forte who is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with an MCL sprain. That time frame encompasses the fantasy playoffs. This is a huge blow to Leland and really hurts his chances at advancing, especially playing a team of Kenny's caliber right off the bat in the 1st round. Despite no Forte, Leland was still able to win his season finale against Mike, although it wasn't pretty. Rob Gronkowski continues to just flat out dominate the Tight End position as he added 3 more TD's. Jonathan Stewart and Matt Stafford also helped lead the way for Leland. Roddy White had a decent showing with a TD and Mike Williams added 90 yards. DeSean Jackson continues to be a disappointment, but no matter what, it's always hard to sit him. Percy Harvin EXPLODED with 156 and two scores, and things were looking decent for Mike to pull off the upset as he was down 15 with Antonio Gates and the Chargers Defense still to go. They only managed to combine for 12 points, as Posey lost a season high 10th time. Posey's big guns (Steve Smith, Colston, Michael Turner, and even Gates) were all letdowns and unfortunately that was the kind of season Mike ended up having.

Overview: I think Albert said it best when referring to my dad as the Tim Tebow of our league. He just keeps on winning, and you wonder how. Dad's been the surprise of the season all year, and he put a stamp on a great debut season by picking up his 9th win in a blowout against Zach. Dad's 9 wins ties the league lead with me and Ryan and had it not been for low scoring affairs the majority of the season, Dad would've been a prime candidate for a bye (he still was a candidate as if I had lost to Matt, he would've had the bye). Dad is the 3rd seed and will face Albert in the 1st round, who he swept in the regular season. The playoffs are a different beast though, and it'll be interesting to see if the reemergence of Chris Johnson is just what Dad needs to make a long run in the playoffs. Drew Brees and Chris Johnson combined for more than half of Dad's points while the rest of his team actually didn't do much. Victor Cruz had another nice game with 100 yards receiving. Michael Bush came down to earth and was ineffective, but he'll still be the starter and he'll rebound from a tough Miami matchup. Brandon Lloyd was also relatively quiet, while Lance Moore continues to contribute as he scored a TD. For Zach, another week with no Vick or Maclin, he just really didn't stand a chance. Willis McGahee was Zach's best player with 15 points, but the rest of his team just wasn't up to snuff at all. It's been a very difficult and injury plagued season for Zach unfortunately. He could just never play a completely healthy team and it shows in his record.
Key Players
Drew Brees (The Bad Robofies) 342 passing yards, 3 passing TD's, 25 points
Chris Johnson (The Bad Robofies) 153 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD's, 4 receiving yards, 27 points
Disappointing Players
Brandon Lloyd (The Bad Robofies) 34 receiving yards, 3 points
Michael Bush (The Bad Robofies) 18 rushing yards, 27 receiving yards, 3 points
Jason Witten (The Bad Robofies) 47 receiving yards, 4 points
Hoosier Daddy (9-4) 127
Overview: The #1 seed playing the #10 seed. Shoe in win and automatic #1 seed for the playoffs. Sure thing right?? WRONG. In the upset of the season, Cindy was able to outduel Ryan 133-127 in what was an absolute high scoring shootout for both teams. Pierre Garcon and Shonn Greene went OFFFFFFFF and along with a nice Reggie Bush game and a shutout by her 49er defense she was able to shock the league and cost Ryan his #1 seed. Now it's not like Ryan was terrible, he scored 127 points (3rd most this week), but playing Jabar Gaffney and getting zero might have cost him the #1 seed. Cam Newton was once again outstanding and once again proved why he is the main reason Ryan got a bye in the first place. 3 rushing TD's and a passing TD for 37 total points is amazing, add that two multi TD games from Mike Wallace, and Rashard Mendenhall, and another great game for MJD and it's amazing Ryan managed to get outscored this week. If you really look at the schedule Cindy wasn't that bad, there were more than a couple games where she could've won had she played the right players. At least she ended the season on a positive note. Ryan on the other hand ,still gets to enjoy the bye and will face either my dad or Albert in the 2nd round.
