Before we get into the predictions, a flurry of trades happened today just showing how teams are trying to maneuver themselves within the top 6 of the league. The biggest trade involved a swap of elite WR's as Eugene moved Julio Jones to Mike for Mike Evans and Tevin Coleman. It's all about preference, but the only reason I'm giving the slight edge Eugene here is because A) Mike Evans has already had his bye (Julio hasn't) and B) Apparently Devonta Freeman is suffering some kind of bone bruise injury and his status could be in doubt not only Week 6 but the foreseeable future, which means Tevin Coleman could get more run as a feature back. Anyways I always love seeing activity between teams other than myself, so we'll see if we see more of that as the year goes on. Onto this week's predictions
Rigmas Forever (3-2) vs
No Soup For You (2-3)
Yahoo Says: Leland Wins
I Say: Leland wins. C'mon let's be realistic. I have no Kamara, no Michael Thomas, and No T.Y. Hilton, going against Leland's fully active roster. I'm not Alex. I'm going to get destroyed and there's nothing I can do about it. It's just how the schedule falls. Sucks that'll be starting at square one after 6 weeks but it is what it is. For Leland, just a prime spot to bounce back from after an 0-3 start. This definitely has big potential to be the biggest blowout of the season.
Underdawg (2-3) vs
I Am Queens Blvd (2-3)
Yahoo Says: Dad wins
I Say: Dad wins. Even though I'm kinda hesitant to pick Dad after hearing about the Devonta Freeman news. This is literally a coin flip and I'm honestly just picking Dad because Yahoo is.
Scott's Tots (2-3) vs
SCLSU MudDogs (2-3)
Yahoo Says: Kenny wins
I Say: Kenny wins. The other guaranteed slaughter of the week. Kenny's not me so his team will not underperform against Alex's injury ravaged team. His team is firing on all cylinders and this is more of a lock than Leland as far as winning goes. The other candidate to be biggest blowout of the season.
Channel 4 News Team (3-2) vs
Rocket Man (2-3)
Yahoo Says: Albert wins
I Say: Albert wins. A lot of moving parts going on here, but I'll go with Albert. Sam Darnold has a scary floor, Eugene's tight end is lacking, and there's a more than good chance that Matt Breida doesn't play. Albert's got the more certain team so I'll go with him.
Trump 2020 (3-2) vs
Hoosier Daddy (2-4)
Yahoo Says: Mike Wins
I Say: Mike wins. I'm going to keep rolling with Mike as he has yet to have a bad week even with his 2 losses to start the season. He's won 3 straight and I think he makes it 4 this week.
Shock The Monkey (4-1) vs
Light's Broken Bots (3-2)
Yahoo Says: Matt Wins
I Say: Mark wins. A very close matchup, the byes really affect Mark's team this week, which gives Matt a chance to win. Wouldn't be surprised if he did, but I'll still give the slight edge to Mark.
