Shonn Greene. Perennial Fantasy Football Bust Shonn Greene. Who would've thought, HE would be the one that ultimately took Matt and his undefeated record down. Dad might not be the most experienced fantasy football players and yes sometimes his inexperience works against him (last week's Donnie Avery for Michael Crabtree debacle), but for the most part Dad has an uncanny knack of making things work with what he has. He doesn't make a trillion trades like me, he simply rolls with his rosters, makes the best moves he can and hopes for the best. This week, he got the best. In what has to be the biggest upset of the year, Dad, without the services of Cam Newton and Darren Sproles, beat the undefeated team of Matt by 10 points in a high scoring affair. He did it with the rest of his regular starters who all showed up but most imporantly he did it with the biggest risk of a waiver wire pickup since well his Week 1 pickup of Rod Streater...Shonn Greene. The ultimate underachiever achieved the highest of highs in Week 6, scoring 3 TD'S, rushing for 160 yards and accounting for a shocking 34 points. It was a tough back and forth affair, but Dad did what no one else had done before. Here are the results of week 6.
The Bad Robofies (4-2) 131.5
Dr. Wily's Robots (5-1) 121.5
From Thursday's blog post and I quote "Matt wins, hands down. No offense to Dad, but this is the WRONG week to
have any guys on byes. If Dad wins, it'll be a miracle of all miracles.
This is the safest prediction of the week". Well....we just witnessed a mircale of all miracle folks. As covered in the introduction, Dad's team just flat out blew up as he scored a major upset. Dad had told me from the beginning of the week he was going to beat Matt. I laughed, well the joke's on me and anyone else who didn't take him seriously. Led by Shonn Greene, Dad's guys fired on all cylinders for the most part. Wes Welker, Jeremy Maclin and Vincent Jackson all provided 20+ points, and DeMarco Murray was on his way to an awesome game as well before he got injured. Dad didn't need too much from Matt Schaub or Shayne Graham Sunday night, and even with a 2 point defensive 49er performance he was able to survive the Arian Foster barrage and win by 10 points. It's not like wasn't game. A.J. Green was awesome yet again, with a 28 point barrage, and though Vick seems to be struggling in real life, in the fantasy world, he's still been a top tier QB, as he finished with 23 points. Matt played Mike Williams over Hakeem Nicks and that worked out as well, as Mike Williams had a 100 and a score for 19 points. Percy Harvin was good as well chipping in 18 pionts. Matt's loss was due to three factors, horrible games from Vernon Davis, Marshawn Lynch and the Dallas D. The Dallas Defense got Matt a big giant 0. Matt will look to rebound against Albert next week, while Dad gets Leland, but it looks like his win came with a price. It seems DeMarco Murray is doubtful for Sunday's game which means it looks like another heaping of Shonn Greene this week.

Another punch in the gut loss for me. I don't even know how i muster enough will power to this damn blog, because this shit with losing is beyond absurd and frustrating. 3rd loss under 10 points during the losing streak. Lost my 4th running back in 6 games this week too as Mendenhall was basically held out of the 2nd half of Thursday's game for precautionary reasons. Ahmad Bradshaw did the impossible and not only got the first rushing TD of the season by a running back but also the first 100 yard rushing game in San Fran since 2009! All against me naturally. After alllll that, I was down 5.5 points with Antonio Gates Monday Night still to play while Ryan had Peyton Manning. No way in hell Gates could outproduce Peyton Manning, yet for the 1st half of the game he did. His 2 first half TD's actually gained me a 10 point lead going into the 2nd half and actually a glimmer of hope. That was promptly shut down when Peyton Manning threw 3 2nd half TD's and the Chargers didn't score a single point in the 2nd half. I mean, I'm just numb to it all now, only so many times you can regurgitate the whole "I still have the 2nd most points in the league but am on a 5 game losing streak" spiel. It's pretty remarkable. Besides Gates, Ray Rice and Megatron were really the only ones who bothered to really show up. Eli had a quiet game becuase they didn't need to pass much, which in turn affected Victor Cruz (who still caught a TD). Reggie Wayne became human again, and didn't do much of note either. How bout David Akers missing two field goals which would have given me 9 points? Yeah, could've used that. For Ryan besides Peyton and Bradshaw, Larry Fitzgerald had his usual good game and though he played Buffalo's Defense against the Cardinals, they still managed 12 points. Reggie Bush sucked, which was a surprise, but the Bradshaw game totally made up for it. Witten also had a nice solid game. We're two weeks away from Halloween and I'm all but finished. Frustrating doesn't begin to cover it. I'll take on Mike Posey next week and I'm tired of trying to guess which way I'll find to lose that one. Ryan gets Kenny next week and is 2nd in the league via points with a 4-2 record.

Kenny picks up his 3rd straight win since acquiring RGIII against Albert who didn't have Brandon Marshall or Jimmy Graham at his disposal. His replacements were hit and miss as Nate Washington didn't do much, but Kyle Rudolph did a great job with a TD, 2 PT conversion and a total of 16 points. Kenny basically won because of RGIII. His 76 yard rushing TD basically put the game out of reach for Albert and Griffin finished with an amazing 35 points. Outside of that very unremarkable yet solid performances by the rest of his team. Roddy White and McCoy both scored TD's but did little yardage wise. Jamaal Charles got bottled up and did nothing of note, and Miles Austin was invisible. For Albert Only Tom Brady outscored Rudolph with a 21 point performance. Demaryius Thomas scored but the yards weren't there. Trent Richardson left the game with an injury and McGahee had yardage rushing and receiving but nothing really else. It's obvious Dwayne Bowe was affected by Brady Quinn being the QB. He did nothing of note. Kenny takes his 3 game winning streak against Ryan next week and will have to depend on his backup running backs and James Jones as Roddy White, LeSean McCoy, and Jamaal Charles are all on byes. Albert gets the task of taking on Matt's team, which should prove to be a difficult matchup.

This week's biggest blowout of the week. Led by Jordy Nelson (who I traded away) and his 3 TD's (34.5 points) Leland ran away with this one pretty easily. Jordy did all the heavy lifting as Matt Ryan was very disappointing considering the matchup, and only C.J. Spiller had a really nice game. Again, just like Kenny, Leland had a bunch of solid but unspectacular plays. For Mayra, Andy Dalton was great even with 3 picks, but the rest of her team really didn't get going. Especially at the RB position where Mathews and Gore only provided 17 points total. None of her receivers, running backs or tight end scored a touchdown. A tough game for Mayra, at least she gets Brees and Colston (but loses Mathews) back from bye to face a struggling 1-5 Drew team. Leland's will get to play my dad, but without Matt Ryan or Julio Jones.
Game MVP
Jordy Nelson (The Twin Killers) 9 receptions, 121 receiving yards, 3 TD's, 34.5 points

Richard Head (3-3) 117
Chardee MacDennis (1-5) 101.5
Very under the radar (mainly because it's my blog and I focus on my shortcomings alot) Drew has also managed a 1-5 record but unlike me it's been uggggggggglyyyyyyyyyyy. Drew has by far the lowest points in the league, and it's crazy because on paper it looks to be a solid team. You know you've hit rock bottom though when you lose to a team that plays one guy who only played 4 snaps (Lamar Miller) and one inactive player (Pierre Garcon). Posey also played Devone Bess. Thanks to Aaron Rodgers and his Sunday Night Explosion (League Season high 38 points) and Dez Bryant (27.5 points) Mike was able to overcome the odds and take Drew down by 15.5 points. Tony Gonzalez came back down to Earth, but a decent game by Steven Jackson and also a nice Atlanta Defensive play helped solidify the victory. For Drew, Matthew Stafford struggled in the 1st half, but put up points in the 2nd, but his team just can't get it together. Despite the fast Mike Wallace start on Thursday, no other player really exploded on the scene. Adrian Peterson had a nice game again, but still can't find the endzone. McFadden found the end zone but the yardage was average. Though he had five guys over 10 points, it was a bunch of mediocrity. Drew's in my situation, where every game from this point on is crucial for survival. He'll take on Mayra, while Mike takes me on.
Game MVP
Aaron Rodgers (Richard Head) 338 passing yards, 6 passing TD's, 17 rushing yards, 38 points (League Season High)
