Every week I wait for the old broken down has been Frank Gore to show up (last week notwithstanding, the Niners were down BIG and had turn to a pass heavy offense which of course they suck at doing, so I don't blame Gore for that) and every week he proves me wrong. Again, and again and again. Wasn't he supposed to suck this year?? Mayra really had no choice but to start him against a tough Seattle Defense, but lo and behold it worked out!! Marvelously I might add. He didn't score a TD, but he racked up yardage to the tune of 20.5 points. That's another big time performance in a series of them this season. Mayra needs that performance cause as of today she still hasn't selected who is going to be her RB #2. Seahawks-49ers doesn't exactly scream fantasy relevance but three other teams had players go last night. Here's the results from those plays.
Dr. Wily's Robots: Matt surprisingly benched Marshawn Lynch for Alfred Morris. Lynch went for a little over 100 but no score. A respectable effort considering the matchup, but if anyone can afford to do that it's Matt. Matt did play Vernon Davis though and wow what a dud. 0 catches, nothing. 2nd straight game where he's been horrible.
Channel 4 News Team: Albert had to play Sidney Rice and that was as bla as you can expect. He only got 4 points. Against Matt, where you likely have to beat him via a shootout? Not good. Also Seattle was just ok, only getting 8 points.
The Bad Robofies: I think Dad will regret this one. He inexplicably swapped out Randall Cobb for Michael Crabtree. Is there a chance Cobb is quiet? Sure, but he had so much more of an upside than Crabtree. Crabtree did exactly what was expected, 5 points. Dad's defense wasn't that bad with 11 points. Could've been 13 but the 49ers declined a penalty that would've given them a safety.
