With the season starting Wednesday with Cowboys vs Giants, I'm going ahead and doing the matchups and predictions post. They probably won't be posted this quick from now on, but I figured week 1 would be easy to predict since basically everyone's lineups should be more or less set. Here we Go

Matchup Stats
All Time Record-Kenny leads series 2-1
Last Matchup-Kenny won 138-88 in Week 10 last season
Opening Week Stats
Kenny 1-1
Me 1-1
Overview- Basically the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry on a slightly smaller scale of course. Kenny kicked my ass the last time we met last season, and swept last year's regular season series. For the 2nd straight year, we'll be playing each other in the opening week. Right off the bat Kenny will use Tony Romo and Miles Austin in Wednesday's game against the Giants. I honestly don't even know what to expect with them. It could be solid or very brutal against a Giants Defense that's pumped and ready to defend their Super Bowl Title. Combine that with Miles Austin's hamstrings problems and the offensive line problems, and it could be a long night for Romo. Of course it has a great chance to be a shootout as well which could mean huge points for Romo. For Kenny, LeSean McCoy has a great matchup against the Browns. The question mark will be Jamaal Charles. How will he handle his first regular game action since his ACL injury in Week 2? Brandon Lloyd and Gronk should be good to go against the Titans, and though the Packers play a tough 49ers defense, Jordy Nelson will get his opportunities to make some plays. For me, Calvin can prove just why I took him at #8 as he takes on the hapless Rams. I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't have a lights out game. Matt Ryan and Roddy White against the Chiefs should be a good matchup. I haven't decided yet on Garcon or Reggie Wayne, but probably leaning to Garcon against the Saints. Forte should have a very good game aganist the dreadful Colts but Fred Jackson faces the Jets defense and that has me worried. Antonio Gates gets the Raiders Monday night and I think he has a chance to put up some nice numbers.
Predicitons
Yahoo Says- Kenny wins 105-104
I say-Kenny wins
I wouldn't be surprised if I won, but Kenny usually owns me for some reason in head to head matchups so I think he'll find a way to beat me yet again.

Matchup Stats
All Time Record- Matt leads series 1-0-1
Last Matchup- Matt and Drew tied 88-88 in Week 14 of the 2010 season
Opening Week Stats
Matt 0-2
Drew 1-0
Overview- Welcome back Drew! Your first matchup is against what looks like on paper to be the best team in the league. Matt's never lost to Drew, but is 0-2 in opening week matchups, while Drew is 1-0. Drew's going to have to be patient with Adrian Peterson and unfortunately this is the wrong team to face while waiting for Peterson to be 100%. More than likely Toby Gerhart gets the start here and will have a chance to be good against the Jaguars. Stafford should put some huge points up for Drew against the Rams, while Mike Wallace and DeSean Jackson also have favorable matchups against the Broncos and Browns respectively. It looks like Drew will likely bench Stevie Johnson who will face Revis Island in week and take a shot with Robert Meachem. Aaron Hernandez also has a great matchup against the Titans. Drew's gonna need all the firepower he can get, because Matt's loaded team starts Wednesday night with Hakeem Nicks against Dallas. The only question mark is his health, he's not 100%, but still should be ok to play. Michael Vick should have a field day against the Browns, even with Joe Haden playing because he's appealing his suspension. A.J. Green might have a difficult matchup against the Ravens, we'll see if he's matchup proof right out of the gate. You gotta like Percy Harvin against Jacksonville, Arian Foster against the Dolphins and Marshawn Lynch against the Cardinals. Vernon Davis should get a ton of targets too against Green Bay.
Predictions
Yahoo Says- Matt wins 112-91 (Assuming Drew goes with Gerhart)
I say- Matt wins. Too much of a question mark going with Gerhart and Matt has too much week 1 firepower to ignore.

Matchup Stats
All Time Record- Leland Leads Series 2-0
Last Matchup- Leland won 87-84 in Week 14
Opening Week Stats
Mike 1-1
Leland 1-0
Overview- We already got some heated words between these two guys, and it should be a good matchup as both teams are pretty even. Leland will start with Eli Manning and Victor Cruz tomorrow against Dallas in which should probably be a shootout. Mike will have Dez Bryant in that game as well. I expect big points in this game. Julio Jones will have a chance to shine against KC, but Decker might have a difficult matchup against the Steelers for Leland. Ray Rice gets the Bengals Monday night, and he'll have his usual good game, but the wild card will be Doug Martin's Debut. Can't ask for a better matchup against the Panthers D. We'll see how he does there. I think Fred Davis will have a nice game against the Saints secondary. It's not an ideal 1st week matchup for Aaron Rodgers against the 49ers, but it's not like he'll get shutdown completely. Posey has receivers from both the Panthers/Bucs in their showdown, and there probably won't be much D being played, so Steve Smith and V-Jax could have big impacts. Looks like maybe Posey will use Michael Bush against the Colts and their horrific Defense, and it wouldn't be surprising if he put up decent numbers even with Forte there. Steven Jackson gets the Lions so he'll have a chance to do good. Tony Gonzalez is a year older, but still a relevant tight end play and should be fine against KC.
Predictions
Yahoo Says- Leland Wins 108-107
I say-Leland Wins, I think Leland gets the slight edge running back wise and that'll be enough to barely put away Posey. Should be a close one though.
The Bad Robofies vs
Hoosier Daddy
Matchup Stats
All time Record- Ryans leads series 1-0
Last Matchup- Ryan won 113-62 in Week 6
Opening Week Stats
Dad 0-1
Ryan 1-1
Overview- The battle of two playoffs team. They've only played each other once and Ryan routed dad last season, but it's a new season now, and both guys look to start their road to the playoffs with a W. Dad will start things off with DeMarco Murray tomorrow. Was he worth the 2nd round pick? We'll see tomorrow night against the Giants. Ryan won't be able to deploy Jason Witten yet, but will use the Giants D against Dallas. I definitely like Cam Newton's upside against the Bucs, and Welker, Maclin, and Sproles all have favorable matchups. Denarius Moore is definitely a weak link, but if Chargers-Raiders is a shootout, he could be a nice surprise and make some big plays. Dad has the 49ers D, but also Jermichael Finley and Mason Crosby. Some of those points will cancel out for him unfortunately. For Ryan, it's gonna be a tough test for Peyton Manning off the bat against the Steelers. Seattle's D is very good and that might provide problems for Larry Fitzgerald, but you aren't sitting him of course. Greg Jennings against the 49ers D isn't ideal either, but still, Jennings is elite enough that Ryan will deploy no matter what. Michael Turner should be an interesting play. I don't believe in him, let's see what he can do against the lowly Chiefs. Chris Johnson will looks to gash that brutal Pats D and regain the form from a couple seasons ago when he was the undisputed #1 fantasy back. I like Antonio Brown's upside against the Broncos as well, but TE is a big question mark ,as TE depth is thin and Ryan needs a week 1 replacement for Witten.
Predictions
Yahoo Says- Dad wins 93-86
I say- Dad wins, I think Dad has the QB advantage and running back advantage here, and that should be the key in beating Ryan this week.

Opening Day Stats
Albert 1-1
Overview- Mayra makes her debut against the defending two time champion but you know what, it's not as intimidating as it seems. QB's are pretty much a draw as it's Brady (vs Titans) vs Brees (vs Washington). I'd honestly probably say WR's are pretty close with Brandon Marshall having a nice match up against the Colts, but on Mayra's side Andre Johnson and Marques Colston both have good matchups against the Dolphins and Redskins. Demaryius Thomas's ceiling is probably a little lower this week than Eric Decker's against the Steelers, while Bowe has a chance to do some damage against the Falcons if Cassel can get him the ball. We'll see if the Ravens air it out against the Bengals, if not, Boldin might not be that useful. Running back wise, even with Frank Gore in the lineup, I have to give the edge to Mayra. You don't know how much or how good Trent Richardson is going to play for Albert, and Willis McGahee plays a tough Steelers Run Defense. Reggie Bush should get a ton of work in the passing and running game for Mayra against the Texans, though Houston's D is really good. Albert might have the better TE in Jimmy Graham, but don't discount Brandon Pettigrew having a good game against the Rams for Mayra.
Predictions
Yahoo Says- Mayra wins 97-93
I say-Mayra wins. I'm going with the underdog here and say that Mayra picks up her first fantasy football win in her very first game against the defending champion no less. It's a pretty even team, but I like Mayra's running back situation this week a little better than Albert's and that might be the deciding factor in this matchup.
Those are my sometimes wrong sometimes right predicitons! The Season finally starts up tomorrow night and I think I can speak for everyone when I say I can't wait to kick this season off!
