The Wayne McGarrity Co-Studs Of The Week
Steven Jackson (Channel 4 News Team)
LeSean McCoy (RuggedRaymontHarris)
This was initially going to go to just Steven Jackson who had a flashback to the Steven Jackson of old with an amazing 150 yard , 2 TD performance, but then LeSean McCoy DESTROYED the #1 run defense in the Dallas Cowboys to a tune of 185 and a TD. I had no choice but to split the award because both were awesome performances, especially Steven Jackson, who most have written off as an elite fantasy option. I thought about Ray Rice and his 3 TD performance, but the yardage wasn't there, and a couple of those TD's were right place at the right time. Adrian Peterson also deserves an honorable mention.
Michael Wiley Dud Of The Week
Chris Johnson (The Bad Robofies)
Every week, you keep thinking THIS is the week Chris Johnson breaks out of his slump. Yet another week passes and another week he sucks. It's hard to believe that someone so talented so produce so little, but it's week 9 now and unbelievably I'm not even sure if he's startable anymore. A measly 37 yards rushing is all he put up against a struggling Colts defense. Pathetic.
Drew Bennett Sneaky Surprise Award
Buffalo Defense (Dr. Wily's Robots)
Matt needed a spot start defense for the Jets and who did he use? The Buffalo Bills?! Damn right, and it was a very rewarding move indeed. A shutout to go with 9 yes 9 sacks, 2 picks and a block kick for a grand total of 25 points. Not bad for a defense just out there for anyone to get.
Tony Romo Bad Decision Award
Zach dropping Cedric Benson
I'm not saying Cedric Benson is all world or anything, but he's a very serviceable running back and he was probably one of Zach's better backs, so to drop him because of his one game suspension might of been a bit harsh. The league is thin in RB depth, and there was no doubt somone of Cedric Benson's caliber was going to get snatched up in no time. Now Zach is left with Mike Tolbert, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, and Willis McGahee as RB options. Is Benson better than all of those guys? Maybe or maybe not, but he provided another choice and since all three guys above are injury prone, it was critical to have as many options as you can to pick from.
