Week 11 Matchups and Predictions/Trade Overview

Well, after the embarrassing ass whooping Kenny gave me, I still wasn't confident with my receiving core as a whole so I was able to swing a trade with Leland.

I get

Hakeem Nicks-WR

He gets

DeSean Jackson-WR

Mario Manningham-WR

Overview: Gotta take a gamble and hope Nicks stays healthy the rest of the way. He has the tools to be an elite receiver, but Manning does like to share the ball with Mario Manningham, Victor Cruz, and Jake Ballard so it's a bit of a risk, but a risk I need to take. Leland is trading for WR depth, which has plagued him all season. Roddy White looks nowhere near a WR #1, and Mike Williams has had a disappointing sophomore season, Manningham has actually been good since his return from injury, scoring in 3 straight games. DeSean Jackson has also been a disappointment, but like me, it's a risk Leland has to take in order to stay in the hunt for the playoffs.

Here this weeks matchups in a critical Week 11

RuggedRaymontHarris (6-4) vs
Salt & Vinegar Chips    (3-7)

Matchup Stats
Last Matchup: I won 110-101 in Week 2
All Time: Series is tied 2-2

Already Played
Denver Broncos Defense (Salt & Vinegar Chips) 13 pts allowed, 3 sacks, 1 INT, 1 Fumble Rec, 1 Defensive TD, 17 points

Key Players (Opponent in Parenthesis)
RuggedRaymontHarris- Tony Romo (Redskins) Greg Jennings (Tampa Bay) Hakeem Nicks (Eagles) LeSean McCoy (Giants) Ray Rice (Bengals)
Salt & Vinegar Chips- Carson Palmer (Vikings) Steve Smith (Lions) Michael Turner (Titans) Antonio Gates (Bears)

Wild Cards
RuggedRaymontHarris- Vincent Jackson (Bears) Vernon Davis (Cardinals) New England Defense (Chiefs)
Salt & Vinegar Chips- Percy Harvin (Raiders)

Yahoo Says: I win 97-76
I say: I win, I win cause I HAVE TO WIN. Yahoo's already wrong because Mike smartly played the Broncos defense Thursday Night and got 17 points from them. Brutal start for me, as now I'm in a hole, but well played by Mike. Now on paper, this shouldn't be a challenge. I have too many weapons to fizzle out again, but you never know. The game of football is unpredictable. My RB's are really going to have carry the load this week, as is Romo. Carson Palmer scares the hell outta me big time, I think he's in for a big game. Michael Turner and Steve Smith also always scare me, as does the potential Percy Harvin has, since he's so damn fast. I'm rolling the dice with the Patriots Defense in hope they can smother Tyler Palko, but there are no guarantees. I need this one big time, cause my last two opponents are Albert and Matt, who I can see losing to both of them. Mike's holding on by a thread in the hunt, and one more win would keep him in contention for at least one more week.

Take Dat Wit Chu (6-4) vs
The_Twin_Killers (5-5)

Matchup Stats
Last Matchup: Kenny won 144-120 in Week 2
All Time: Kenny leads 1-0

Key Players
Take Dat Wit Chu  Aaron Rodgers (Tampa Bay) Larry Fitzgerald (49ers) DeMarco Murray (Redskins)
The_Twin_Killers- Matthew Stafford (Panthers) Roddy White (Titans) Matt Forte (Chargers) Rob Gronkowski (Chiefs)

Wild Cards
Take Dat Wit Chu- Laurant Robinson (Redskins) Denarius Moore (Vikings) Ryan Mathews (Bears) Tony Gonzalez (Titans)
The_Twin_Killers- Mario Manningham (Eagles) DeSean Jackson (Giants)/Mike Williams (Packers), Jonathan Stewart (Lions)

Yahoo Says: Kenny wins 96-87
I Say: Kenny wins, though I still think half of Kenny's team is unpredictable, Aaron Rodgers sure isn't, he's good for AT LEAST 24 a game, and that with DeMarco Murray should work out well. Can Laurent Robinson continue to be Romo's go to receiver? Will Denarius Moore take advantage of one of the worst secondaries in the league?? What will Ryan Mathews do?? All huge questions. On the other hand, the Ahmad Bradshaw injury has been very costly to Leland who's had to play the likes of Kevin Faulk and Jonathan Stewart, since there is literally no one else out there. The receiver situation has been a problem too, I'm not sure if he'll go DeSean or Mike Williams, but my money would be on DeSean Jackson, with Maclin ruled out, he'll be the only prime target left. Forte is just as scary as Rodgers, and Stafford should have his way with the Panthers D. It might be close than you think, but I still think Kenny pulls this one out.

Channel 4 News Team (7-3) vs
The Bad Robofies (6-4)

Matchup Stats
Last Matchup: Dad beat Albert 89-79 in Week 2
All-Time: Dad leads 1-0

Already Played

Mark Sanchez (The Bad Robofies) 252 yards passing, 1 INT, 9 points

Key Players
Channel 4 News Team- Tom Brady (Chiefs) Calvin Johnson (Panthers) Dez Bryant (Redskins) Steven Jackson (Seattle) Jermichael Finley (Tampa Bay)
The Bad Robofies- Brandon Lloyd (Seahawks) Michael Bush (Vikings) Jason Witten (Redskins)

Wild Cards
Channel 4 News Team- Earl Bennett (Chargers) Kendall Hunter (Cardinals)
The Bad Robofies- David Nelson (Dolphins) Victor Cruz (Eagles) Brandon Jacobs (Eagles)

Yahoo Says: Albert wins 90-85
I say: Albert wins, Dad's already in the hole using up his QB in Mark Sanchez who did nothing and couldn't get double digit points. Albert has Tom Brady who has the capability to triple Sanchez's performance. Dad's rolling with Michael Bush again, who has given Dad two awesome quality starts and looks for a third against a good Vikings run defense. Dad's also making a tricky play, using Brandon Jacobs over Chris Johnson. Very gutsy, but Jacobs does have the better matchup. The X-Factors in this game will be huge, Earl Bennett has been Cutler's BFF and Kendall Hunter might end up with a heavier workload than Gore. I keep putting Cruz as a wild card cause he's still the Giants #3 receiver, so it's not a lock that he'll get all those targerts, but so far so good. Albert, even without Arian Foster, still has more fire power (Calvin, Dez, Steven Jackson) and Dad not having Brees really hurt him more than Albert losing Foster. It's not a sure-fire win for Albert, but I think he pulls it out and keeps 1st place.

Dr. Wily's Robots (5-5) vs
Hoosier Daddy (7-3)

Matchup Stats
Last Matchup: Matt destroyed Ryan 154-72 (still highest blowout of the season) in week 2
All-Time: Matt Leads Series 2-0

Already Played
Dustin Keller (Dr. Wily's Robots) 40 yards receiving, 4 points
Eric Decker (Hoosier Daddy) 0 yards receiving, 0 points

Key Players
Dr. Wily's Robots- Eli Manning (Eagles) Brandon Marshall (Bills) Adrian Peterson (Raiders) Fred Jackson (Dolphins)
Hoosier Daddy- Cam Newton (Lions) Maurice Jones-Drew (Browns)

Wild Cards
Dr. Wily's Robots- Doug Baldwin (Rams) Dwayne Bowe (Patriots)
Hoosier Daddy- Anquan Boldin (Bengals) Greg Olson (Lions) Jabar Gaffney (Cowboys) LaGarrette Blount (Packers)

Yahoo Says: Matt wins 99-78
I say: Matt wins, this was why it was crucial for Ryan to win last week. No Jimmy Graham, no Mike Wallace, no Mendenhall, no adequate backups, this could be ugly again. Remember last time they played Matt won by 82 points. There only other meeting last year, Matt won by 42. I have a feeling this will be another blowout. Ryan's already down a guy as Eric Decker got him 0. I don't think Newton and MJD will be enough to cancel out Matt's key guys. Even with A.J. Green out, Matt can afford to take a chance on Doug Baldwin. If he gets nothing, so did Eric Decker. Matt's win last week got him back on track and another win this week increases his chances at securing a playoff spot.

Shredders (3-7) vs
Da Boyz (2-8)

Eh, i'm not gonna bother with this because as of right now, both teams don't have close to full rosters, and they've both used a player a piece and the score is -1 to 1. Yeah, this is gonna be really ugly. I'm not sure if either will bother changing their lineups but we'll see.
