T.Y. Hilton. That guy is one of the most unpredictable guys in fantasy football. Most weeks you see modest to good performances. I mean before last night, his best game was a 13.5 effort. Not bad..but not elite by any means, just consistent. He's the type of player though..that randomly doesn't have just good games..he has flat out GREAT games that win weeks, since for teams that own him he's not close to being their best player. You just never know when those GREAT weeks are coming. Well for Alex...it came last night. Hilton was unbelievable last night 9 receptions for 223 yards and a score (he had another score called back.which of course fucked me, because it led to a T-Rich TD but I digress) and finished with 32.5 points. When I was doing my draft grades, I said I was only human and have been numerous times. I might have missed the boat on Alex's team..it's better than I thought and I'm not just saying that because of the Hilton play. He easily dispatched Matt last week and now even without Drew Brees it looks like he's in prime position to get back to .500 (Ryan's luck sucks as it looks like another loss to put him at 1-5). Watch out for this team..it's a darkhorse indeed and not one I'd be too thrilled facing anytime soon. This was a very high scoring game and pretty much every fantasy relevant player did some damage. Trent Richardson is a fat fuck lazy ass who sucks....but he's relvant inside the 5 because that's the ONLY kind of damage he can do. Naturally he scored right away. Richardson had 6 points off the bat, but because he's just so god awful, he only finished with 40 rushing yards, he did beat his projected points though, and that's all you can ask for. Andre Johnson hadn't scored a TD all year...so guess what he does against me? Yep...of course and he finished with 99 and a score and 16.5 points despite losing a fumble. Good start for Matt as both guys beat their projections and I'm already worried that this week is going to end up like the last 3..another L on the books. So Arian Foster...yeah's he's not too bad. Albert needed a great performance since he'll be without A.J. Green's services this week and Foster more than delivered. Over 100 yards rushing and 2 TD's and he finished with 26.5 points on his own. Not looking great for Leland. Mayra actually smartly sat DeAndre Hopkins as he did nothing, but she got yet another great Luck game (despite a pick and a fumble, he still had nearly 400 yards passing and 3 Passing TD's) and Bradshaw did his usual with a receiving TD. I'm telling you..this team is a MACHINE. I don't know how to stop her and she'll only get that much stronger with the addition of Matt Forte if that trade ends up going through. I said "most" players did damage. Kenny's miniscule chances at salvaging his season get even smaller as Reggie Wayne did nothing really. 4 catches for 35 yards. You need more than that to beat Eugene. Bad start there. Mark and his disappointing team are off to a bad start as well. Dwayne Allen only had 49 yards receiving. Mark's basically looking to next season where there's a possibility he'll have an extra pick to build on. If 1-5 does happen, it's pretty much over. Now it's time for the Week 5 Awards.
Wane McGarity Stud Of The Week
Russell Wilson (The Bad Robofies)
Honorable mention to Demaryius Thomas who EXPLODED but this has to go the guy that led one of the biggest comebacks our league has ever seen.
Michael Wiley Dud Of The Week
Larry Donnell (Dr. Light's Robots)
From scoring 3 TD's to not catching a single pass against the Falcons. He was only targeted once. A big 0 for what was though to be the next big thing at tight end.
There are no Sneaky Surprise of Bad Decision Awards This Week.
