Wane McGarrity Stud of the Week
Seattle Seahawks Defense (Channel 4 News Team)
How can you not go with the best defensive performance in fantasy football history. It's the main reason Albert pulled off the Round 1 victory in a shootout against my dad. 41 points. Unbelievable.
Michael Wiley Dud Of The Week
Brandon Myers (The Bad Robofies)
I could've gone Aaron Rodgers here, or maybe even Pittsburgh Defense, but at least Aaron Rodgers did SOMETHING, and acually led Mike's team in scoring. Brandon Myers was coming off a MONSTER game last week and a lot of people thought he was a shoe-in for another great performance against a Broncos D that is in the bottom of the league when it comes to defending tight ends. NOPE, not even close. Myers had 1 catch for 7 yards. Half a point. When you lose by 8.5, getting half a point from a player is just plain sick.
There are no awards for a Sneaky Play or Bad Decision award this week. You can argue that Dad should've played New England Defense and Jermichael Finley but at the end of the day, he still would've lost by 1.5 points (in fact, it would've been worse, cause he would've been in line for a win until T.J. Yates got a trash TD and lost the Pats more points, which in turn would've turned the win into a 1.5 point loss). Could Posey have played Brandon Lloyd over say Brian Hartline? Yeah, but he still loses anyways, and it was justifiable playing Ridley and Chris Johnson over Stevan Ridley.
