Week 5 starts tomorrow...let's get to it.
Danny's Little Giants (3-1) vs
The Bad Robofies (2-2)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: I lead series 2-1
Last Matchup: I beat Dad 137.5-104 in Week 13 of the 2012 Season
Key Players
Danny's Little Giants: Cam Newton (Cardinals) DeSean Jackson (Giants) Larry Fitzgerald (Panthers) LeSean McCoy (Giants)
The Bad Robofies: Colin Kaepernick (Texans) Andre Johnson (49ers) Anquan Boldin (Texans) Ray Rice (Dolphins) Jimmy Graham (Bears)
Wild Cards
Danny's Little Giants: No Garcon, RB Production
The Bad Robofies: DMC's status. Kaepernick/Boldin/Andre Johnson difficult matchups. Ray Rice fully back?
Predictions
Yahoo Says: Dad wins 97-95
I Say: I win...yeah...I'm actually going to pick myself. Classic Father vs Son rivalry so bragging rights go along with a victory. The matchups favor me (even David Wilson's) and I think I can pull of this victory. I do worry that Kaepernick will finally snap out of his funk, but hopefully the Texans D can contain him and Boldin (and vice versa with the 49ers containing Andre Johnson).
Not Even Lying (2-2) vs
Tebow4President (1-3)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Kenny leads series 3-2
Last Matchup: Kenny Beat Leland 116-85.5 in Week 13 of the 2012 Season
Key Players
Not Even Lying: Drew Brees (Bears) Demaryius Thomas (Cowboys) Randall Cobb (Lions) Chris Johnson (Chiefs)
Tebow4President: Matthew Stafford (Packers) Rob Gronkowski (Bengals)
Wild Cards
Not Even Lying: No Doug Martin or Antonio Brown
Tebow4President: No C.J. Spiller. Gronk's 1st game. Scoring from rest of team.
Predicitions
Yahoo Says: Kenny wins 91-90
I say: Kenny wins. I know he's down Doug Martin but I still think Kenny has enough fire power to take down Leland. Leland's got to get production from someone and I don't see where it comes from outside of Matthew Stafford, Gronk, and maybe Lamar Miller.
Passion ofthe Puente (3-1) vs
Dr. Light's Robots (1-3)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Matt Leads 4-1
Last Matchup: Matt beat Mike 110-94 in Week 9 of the 2012 season
Key Players
Passion ofthe Puente: Tony Romo (Broncos) Wes Welker (Cowboys) Brandon Marshall (Saints) Arian Foster (49ers) Tony Gonzalez (Jets)
Dr. Light's Robots: Michael Vick (Giants) Reggie Wayne (Seahawks) Jordy Nelson (Lions) Jamaal Charles (Titans) Maurice Jones-Drew (Jets)
Wild Cards
Passion ofthe Puente: RB#2 production
Dr. Light's Robots: MJD's struggles. Reggie Wayne Tough Matchup.
Predictions
Yahoo Says: Mike wins 105-96
I Say: Mike wins. Matt's had Mike's number all time but I think Mike will get this one. I think Mike just has the better overall team.
I'm A Paul Heyman Guy (2-2) vs
Channel 4 News Team (1-3)
Matchup Stats
All Time Record: Albert Leads Series 4-2
Last Matchup: Albert beat Drew 126-110.5 in Week 13 of the 2012 Season
Key Players
I'm A Paul Heyman Guy: Andrew Luck (Seahawks) Reggie Bush (Packers) Jordan Cameron (Bills)
Channel 4 News Team: Peyton Manning (Cowboys) A.J. Green (Patriots) Frank Gore (Texans) Steve Smith (Cardinals)
Wild Cards
I'm A Paul Heyman Guy: No Peterson. Luck tough matchup. WR Production
Channel 4 News Team: No Alfred Morris. McGahee Production? TE Production.
Predictions
Yahoo Says: Albert wins 89.84-89.24
I say: Albert wins...wow this is tough. Both teams have key players out and anything can happen when you have guys like Marlon Brown, Kendall Wright, Willis McGahee and Rashard Jennings starting. I think Albert slightly has the edge with Manning and A.J. Green and that might be enough to pick up win #2.
Springville-Warrior (2-2) vs
Bigger Balls (2-2)
No Matchup Stats
Key Players
Springville-Warrior: Russell Wilson (Colts) Julio Jones (Jets) Eric Decker (Cowboys) Trent Richardson (Seahawks) DeMarco Murray (Broncos) Antonio Gates (Raiders)
Bigger Balls: Aaron Rodgers (Lions) Dez Bryant (Broncos) Calvin Johnson (Packers) Darren Sproles (Bears) Vernon Davis (Texans)
Wild Cards
Springville-Warrior: Russell Wilson finally get on track. Tough RB Matchups.
Bigger Balls: Fred Jackson production. Sproles tough matchup
Predictions
Yahoo Says: Eugene wins 101-97
I Say: Mayra wins. I just think the Cowboys might abandon the run early if they're getting blown out and Trent Richardson hasn't done much against weak defenses, what will he do against the Seahawks D? Also Russell Wilson hasn't been great fantasy wise. Should be a close contest though.
Shock The Monkey (4-0) vs
Hoosier Daddy (1-3)
No Matchup Stats
Key Players
Shock The Monkey: Matt Ryan (Jets) Victor Cruz (Eagles) Matt Forte (Saints) Jason Witten (Broncos)
Hoosier Daddy: Tom Brady (Bengals) Marques Colston (Bears) Marshawn Lynch (Colts)
Wild Cards
Shock The Monkey: Justin Blackmon's 1st game off suspension. Can Bilal Powell do it again? WR production from Hartline, Ginn Jr.
Hoosier Daddy: Will Stevan Ridley ever get it together? Weak TE.
Predictions
Yahoo Says: Mark wins 94-90
I Say: Ryan pulls of the upset. Heck why not. Remember last year when Dad and his bye week filled squad upset Matt for his 1st loss? It could happen here. Mark's got just as many questions on his team this week as Ryan does. I'm going to not jinx Mark and say Ryan ends the streak.
