Playoffs: 1st round Matchups and Predictions

It's playyyyyyyyyyyyyyyoff time! 6 teams battle it out tournament style to see who will become the champion of the Wayne McGarrity Bowl. Luckily for me and Ryan, finishing #1 and #2 in the regular season has its advantages and both of us get 1st round byes. The other four teams, will face each other in the 1st round this week with the winners advancing to the final four and getting to face either Ryan or myself. Making the final four is vital because it guarantees you no worse that an opportunity to play for 3rd place and your money back. Here's a look at the two first round matchups

Yahoo Revised Projections Say: Kenny wins 106-81
I Say: Kenny wins. First of all, using Shaun Suisham and only getting two points is a big blow. I don't understand why Leland didn't roll with Janikowski, he must've been intrigued with the matchup. Every point counts though, and only 2 points from a kicker is starting off on the wrong foot. Both guys have risky plays especially since I don't know what Kenny's going to do about his receivers, but I think I'll give the edge to Kenny, though I don't know if it'll be a blowout like Yahoo is projecting.

Yahoo Revised Projections Say: Albert wins 102-101
I say: Albert Wins. This is going to be very close. Dad has been riding the hot hand of Drew Brees, Victor Cruz, and Chris Johnson and that probably continues here, but the question marks for the rest of Dad's team continue to stay there. Brandon Lloyd has a tough matchup, especially if the Rams use their 3rd string QB, but in the same game, Steven Jackson has been struggling big time and could once again struggle against a good run defense. I still think Albert overall, has the better team and I expect Foster, Dez, Brady, and Calvin to have huge games. Also, his defense already met expectations. It'll be close, but I think Albert moves one step closer to defending his title.
